Obama promueve energía nuclear para planes sobre clima y energía
Pues ahora, nuestras propuestas no resultan tan descabelladas!!....bueno,falta mucho por trabajar en lo que respecta a los desechos radiactivos... WASHINGTON (AP) - El presidente Barack Obama apoya la energía nuclear como nunca antes,Obama destacó en su discurso sobre el Estado de la Nación el papel de la energía nuclear y se anticipa que su plan de gastos para el próximo presupuesto incluirá miles de millones de dólares más en garantías federales para nuevos reactores nucleares.
Le preocupaba cómo lidiar con los desechos radiactivos y cuántos fondos federales hacían falta para solventar los costos de construcción. Esas preocupaciones persisten.
El cambio en el panorama de la legislación para el clima y la energía, es una prioridad de la Casa Blanca. La Cámara de Representantes aprobó en junio un proyecto que limitaría las emisiones de gases de efecto vivero por primera vez, pero el proyecto provocó una rebelión republicana en el Senado.
